Getting to Ocean Quest Liveaboard – Divers Den, 319 Draper St, Parramatta Park QLD 4870:
Arriving at Divers Den and embarking on your Ocean Quest Liveaboard adventure is easy and convenient. Follow these steps to ensure a smooth start to your trip:
Pickup Service (If Booked)
If you’ve arranged a pickup service from your city accommodation, our friendly team will collect you between 7:30 AM and 8:00 AM. I look forward to a comfortable ride to our dive centre.
Check-In at Dive Centre
Upon arrival at our dive centre, 319 Draper St, Parramatta Park QLD 4870, check in with our helpful staff. They will assist you with any necessary paperwork and ensure you have all the information you need for your journey.
Transferring to the Marina
At around 8:30 AM, we’ll set off from Cairns Marina on our day trip vessel, SeaQuest. Enjoy the scenic cruise as you head towards the breathtaking Great Barrier Reef.
Arriving at the Reef
By 10:00 AM, you’ll arrive at the reef for your first snorkelling or diving experience on SeaQuest. Get ready to explore the vibrant underwater world.
Switch to Ocean Quest:
At 2:30 PM, you’ll transfer to OceanQuest and settle into your comfortable cabin. Prepare for more incredible dives and snorkelling sessions in the coming days.

Important Booking Information:
When making a reservation with Ocean Quest, we want to ensure your experience is tailored to your preferences. In the Booking Form’s Comments Box, please indicate your choice of cabin type: Double Cabin with Private Ensuite, Twin Cabin with Private Ensuite, or Quad Share Cabin with Private Ensuite.
Additionally, let us know your preferred activity onboard, whether you’re a Certified Diver, Snorkeller, participating in the PADI Advance Course, or opting for the Introductory Dive Package. Feel free to share any other important information that will help us cater to your needs, including dietary requirements.
Terms and Conditions
Diving Requirements: Introductory Divers must complete a Dive Medical Questionnaire to ensure they can safely scuba dive. Certain medical conditions or medications may prevent individuals from diving unless they possess a current Queensland Diving Medical Certificate. Conditions such as heart disease, asthma, epilepsy, or diabetes can be potential disqualifiers.
Certified Divers: Certified Divers are required to provide proof of their diving qualification, either in the form of a Dive License (C Card) or Divers Logbook, to our Dive Instructor on the day of the trip. If you have lost your certification card, please contact us in advance, and we will do our best to verify your diver rating before your travel date. Ocean Quest reserves the right to refuse a Certified Dive to anyone unable to prove their certification.

A minimum of 48 hours' notice is required to re-schedule or alter all or part of a reservation.
Any date change will incur a $20 administration fee.
We are required to notify the operator of any cancellations within the specified cancellation period. It is your responsibility to make sure you submit your cancellation request with adequate time, and during standard business hours (8 am to 5 pm, closed on Public Holidays), to allow us to contact the tour provider. All cancellation requests must be in writing and sent via email to: [email protected]. Any emails received outside of these hours will be considered received the following day. Please be aware that cancellation attempts made through online chat or phone will not be processed.
Cancellation fees are as follows:
20% cancellation fee 48 hours or more before departure
100% cancellation fee within 48 hours before departure and for "No Show"
There will be no refund of any part of your tour costs should you fail to arrive at a scheduled tour departure time. Tour departures may not be delayed due to passenger circumstances - including events beyond your control, medical problems, airline delays, weather etc.
All passengers are strongly advised to purchase comprehensive travel insurance that includes trip cancellation insurance, evacuation and medical cover. Please read the wording of your insurance policy carefully and ensure it covers you for all potential activities

• No alcohol may be consumed prior to in-water activities
• Please remember you need to allow 24 hours from your last dive before flying.
• Passengers intending to dive but restricted due to a medical condition will not be offered a refund.
• We are not liable for changes to tours, pricing or itineraries, all of which are subject to change without notice. The tour operator will endeavour to adhere to the advertised itinerary, but reserve the right to alter the itinerary or cut short the tour in the event of medical emergency, inclement weather conditions, or for reasons involving passenger, crew or vessel safety, at the sole discretion of the Master of the Vessel.
• Neither this site, nor any associated company or agent advertised through this site is responsible for your costs or losses resulting from alterations, cancellations, loss of personal belongings, property damage, delay or personal injury.
• A severe storm or named cyclone in the region may delay our departure or require the trip to be cut short or cancelled. If travelling in the cyclone season (December to April) we advise the purchase of (well prior the due Travel Date), insurance that covers force majeure events (being events outside the control of the parties, such as natural disasters).
• All passengers are strongly advised to purchase comprehensive travel insurance that includes trip cancellation insurance, evacuation and medical cover. Please read the wording of your insurance policy carefully and ensure it covers you for all potential activities. In a medical emergency, any evacuation, vessel relocation, medical or other expenses are the financial responsibility of that passenger. Please be aware that scuba diving and other in-water activities are not covered by all travel insurance companies.
