Do I need to complete the course all at once?

Most divers complete the Advanced course over 2–3 days, but some operators offer flexible options depending on your schedule and dive site access.

Is there an exam?

No written exam! The Advanced course is experience-based — you’ll learn through guided dives, instructor briefings, and in-water practice.

Do I need my own dive gear?

No — all necessary equipment is provided. You’re welcome to bring your own if preferred.

How deep will I go?

Your deep dive will take you to a maximum of 30 metres (100 feet), always under close supervision from your instructor.

Can I do the Advanced course on a liveaboard?

Absolutely! Reef Encounter, Ocean Quest, and Spirit of Freedom all offer Advanced training in beautiful reef settings — often with extra fun dives included.
