What else do I need to know?
As a result of being dependent on weather conditions for the operation of this Sail and Dive Adventure, the itinerary is completely flexible to ensure that you are Snorkelling and Diving in optimal conditions. For this reason, the itinerary can be scheduled slightly different from trip to trip.
Since we travel to some remote areas around the Islands, this can sometimes limit the available cell service. At times there will be little to no service, however, the Captain will advise you of the areas when you will be back in range.
The operation of this sailing trip can be affected by weather conditions. For this reason, travel Insurance is highly recommended.
SCUBA DIVING - IMPORTANT INFORMATION
It is not our company’s decision regarding these laws - we are regulated by the Queensland Government
• You will be required to complete a Medical Questionnaire before participating in any Scuba activities.
• Some medical conditions OR medications may prevent you from scuba diving unless a current Queensland Diving Medical Certificate can be shown to the Dive Instructor on
board.
• Please be advised that if you are not allowed to Scuba Dive due to your medical condition/medication that this is the decision from the Queensland Dive Doctors and their
decision is final.
Flying and Scuba Diving
After a single no decompression scuba dive, you should not fly or go to altitude for at least 18 hours after a scuba dive. For multiple scuba dives, you should not fly for 24 hours after your last dive. This includes Skydiving and Hot Air Ballooning.
We recommend waiting a minimum of 24 hours whenever possible.
Public Holiday Surcharge
Please note - there is a PUBLIC HOLIDAY SURCHARGE of $40 per person applicable,
payable at check in. If a public holiday occurs during one of the days that a trip
has departed, then the surcharge applies.
