About the Great Barrier Reef

Australia’s Great Barrier Reef is the World’s largest coral reef.  The GBR has over 2,500 individual reefs and over 900 islands and cays.  Starting in Bundaberg and extending to the Northern tip of Cape York, the Great Barrier Reef covers three thousand kilometres.

Below the surface,  there is over 1500 species of fish and also 400 different species of coral.  The reef is also home to six out of the World’s seven sea turtles.

Next, you will also find dolphins, giant clams and also Manta Rays.

While flying, be on the lookout for dugongs, turtles, whales and sharks.

Breathtaking Views above the Great Barrier Reef

This tour provides breathtaking views of  Green Island, Fitzroy Island, Vlassoff Cay and also Upolu CayThree of the most famous sand cays on the Great Barrier Reef.

While flying above the reef, there are fantastic views of marine life, including turtles, manta rays, dolphins and whales.

Humpback whales are often seen on their annual migration between June and September.
