Undoubtedly, this 2 Day/2 Night Overnight Whitsunday Sailing Adventure will provide you with a truly memorable experience.
Being one of the only ways to Scuba Dive at the Whitsunday Islands, this trip is absolutely the best value for money! Enjoy breathtaking views as you sail past some of the 74 Islands that make up the Whitsunday Island Group.
What makes this a unique sailing trip?
The Atlantic Clipper is a 97ft Wooden Schooner constructed of famous Tasmanian hardwood. Including a brand new dive board, you can “walk the plank” before you dive!
This vessel has two onboard Waterslides, 12 person Spa, Stand up Paddle Boards, Movie Lounge and Superior Facilities. Making this a unique sailing experience will be one to remember!
The vessel boasts three levels, so there is always plenty of room! Such as the 21 air-conditioned cabins available with 2, 3 or 4 berth rooms. The spacious saloon can comfortably seat 60 guests, so there is plenty of space on board!
Undoubtedly, on this Whitsunday overnight sailing trip, you will experience the Whitsundays first hand. Participate in Sailing, Snorkelling, Diving and Guided Walks.
Not only will you be able to maximise your visit to the Whitsunday Islands, but you also learn about the local marine wildlife. Your guide will enlighten you with informative talks on your guided walks.
To illustrate your overnight sailing adventure, imagine waking up to the Sun rising over the clear azure waters at Whitehaven Beach. Dig your toes into the warm shimmering white sands of Whitehaven Beach.
Firstly, you will depart the Marina at approximately 2:45 pm for your Whitsunday Overnight Sailing tour. The sails will be hoisted to make the most of the winds while you cruise through the Whitsunday Passage. After a beautiful sail, you will arrive at your overnight anchorage. Once moored, take a dip in the refreshing clear turquoise before enjoying the breathtaking sunset over the Whitsunday Islands. Dinner and evening drinks will be enjoyed before spotting some playful dolphins that appear in the evening. Wrap up the evening by bedding down in the cosy rooms. In fact, the gentle rocking of the boat will send you off to sleep. This will be the best sleep you have ever had!
Day 2
After a beautiful continental breakfast to kickstart your morning, the vessel will arrive at Whitehaven Beach. Join your tour guide on the walk to Hill Inlet and up to the Hill Inlet lookout. Here you can view the iconic swirling sands that are always changing. Next, it is time to visit the northern end of Whitehaven Beach. Here you can soak up the sun, relax on the beach or take a dip in the crystal clear shimmering waters. A range of beach games are available, or you can explore the mangroves looking for amazing marine life.
Soon it will be time to return to the boat for a delicious lunch. This followed by a quick sail around the Whitsunday Islands to your snorkelling and diving destination. Additionally, the waterslide will be set up, so between your Snorkelling and Diving, there will be plenty of time to enjoy the little things in life!
Finally, after a beautiful sunset sail, you will arrive at your overnight anchorage. This evening your crew will pull out the Sailing charts. Enjoy the interactive chat of where you have travelled through the Whitsundays so far. After a delicious dinner, it’s time to dim the lights, put on some party tunes and be entertained. Referred to by the crew as “The Show”. Dancing, party games, and innocent tomfoolery will wrap up your evening and leave you with a smile on your face!
Day 3
Last but not least, it’s time to set sail to your final destination. With more Snorkelling, Diving, and Watersliding to be had! It’s time to whip out the Stand-Up Paddleboards. Try your hand at Banana boating or Jetboat riding (additional cost). Finally, after raising the anchor, you will set sail for home. Enjoy the relaxing sail back past the stunning Whitsunday Islands.
