Full day tour of the Outer Barrier Reef including snorkelling and one introductory scuba dive.  This tour visits two outer Barrier Reef locations.

Great Barrier Reef

Australia’s Great Barrier Reef is spectacular, and scuba diving is no doubt, the best way to see the reef.

The largest living thing is home to more than 1500 species of fish and six species of turtles.

Compass Cruises are delighted to offer their full-day Great Barrier Reef tour to the outer barrier reef.  While we are at the reef, we will visit two spectacular outer barrier reefs.

There will be plenty of time for snorkelling and scuba diving.

Introductory scuba diving.

Teeming with brightly coloured fish, and our introductory scuba divers will have you underwater to a maximum depth of 12 metres handheld by one of our dive instructors.

No experience is necessary (medical conditions do apply).  You don’t even need to know how to swim!

First, you will receive a detailed briefing on what to expect on your introductory scuba dive. Next, we will enter the water handheld by one of our professional scuba diving instructors.  After that, relax and enjoy a fantastic underwater experience coming face to face with stunning marine life.

Finally, everyone has the opportunity to experience boom netting before we enjoy a glass of wine and cheese and biscuits.
